Boasting a central location and a unique mix of Italian influence, indulgent foods, outdoor recreation and heritage, Marion County is a true gem in North Central West Virginia. In 2018, we set forth to renew Marion County’s image with a new logo, tagline, travel guide, collateral materials, website and much more. We’re spreading the word about why everyone should visit “The Middle of Everywhere.”


Logo Design

A new brand was created to focus on being the central point of access to the region’s best attractions. A new tagline, derived from Fairmont’s original name “Middletown,” was paired with a fresh new logo giving homage to the past while using a clean, simple design with vibrant colors.




The cornerstone of any good brand is a strong web presence. Building websites from scratch with a mobile-first approach is our speciality. We focused on creating a dynamic website for Marion County that not only reflected the new brand, but incorporated custom, practical features like a build-your-own itinerary function.

Travel Guide

To accompany the new brand, Digital Relativity created a new design and layout for the 2018 travel guide. Vibrant photography, fun illustrations and reimagined itineraries added to the charm of the new guide which highlights all the best stops in Marion County along with comprehensive listings of dining, accommodations, services, entertainment, recreation and much more.
