West Virginia Department of Tourism Brand Library
The West Virginia Department of Tourism (WVDT) needed a continually updated video and photography library supporting placements promoting all nine travel regions. Managing seasonal content while maintaining quality proved challenging. DR became a multimedia extension, providing ongoing in-house photo and video capabilities to keep the library current and comprehensive.
The Goal
The brand library content capture aims to support the WVDT’s in-house and agency teams with a comprehensive brand library of photography and b-roll showcasing diverse activities, locations and talent across West Virginia’s nine travel regions.
The Strategy
DR operates as an extension of the WVDT team, coordinating year-round content capture across the state. Strategic planning prioritizes high-performing imagery, featuring candid photography to showcase genuine moments, and creates a comprehensive library that represents all regions and seasonal variations.
The Results
The ongoing content capture program delivers a diverse, comprehensive brand library of photographs and b-roll. This evergreen content continuously supports the WVDT’s marketing initiatives across all mediums, effectively promoting tourism experiences throughout the state.
