The Role

As a Strategic Partnership Manager at DR, you own the relationship. That means you’re the person partners count on to understand their business, connect the dots and make sure the work we do together drives real results.

You’ll be part strategist, part relationship builder, part project conductor. You’ll work closely with our internal teams across creative, media, digital and development to deliver integrated solutions, and you’ll help identify what comes next for the partners you serve.

What You’ll Do

Lead and Grow Partner Relationships

  • Own a portfolio of partner accounts and serve as their primary agency and strategic contact
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with partner leadership and key decision-makers
  • Proactively bring ideas, insights and recommendations; you don’t wait to be asked
  • Serve as the voice of the partner internally, making sure their goals and feedback shape our work

Drive Strategy and Results

  • Lead marketing strategy conversations that connect partner goals with agency capabilities
  • Translate partner business challenges into actionable plans with internal teams
  • Use data, analytics and AI-driven insights to inform strategy and uncover opportunities
  • Lead partner meetings, presentations and performance reporting with clarity and confidence

Grow the Business

  • Identify and develop opportunities to expand existing partner relationships through new campaigns, services and initiatives
  • Contribute to new business efforts including proposals, RFP responses and identifying potential partner opportunities
  • Maintain awareness of trends in our core verticals — travel and tourism, convenience stores and economic development — and bring that intelligence to partner conversations

Keep Things Running Well

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects are scoped clearly, timelines are realistic and partners stay informed
  • Maintain project accountability across budgets, deliverables and approvals
  • Track time daily in Workamajig and follow internal processes for project management and communication

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of account management, client services or related experience (agency background preferred)
  • Strong communicator — clear, honest and confident in front of clients and in writing
  • Strategic thinker who can connect business goals to marketing solutions
  • Comfortable with data and curious about AI tools and emerging technologies
  • Organized and accountable — you follow through and own your work
  • Unflappable accuracy – you maintain a high degree of precision when juggling multiple clients and projects
  • Collaborative by nature — you make the team better, not just yourself

We’re a remote-first team with an office in Charleston, WV that’s always available when you want it. We offer flextime and trust our people to manage their schedules and deliver. We’re collaborative and accessible to each other during core business hours, and how you structure the rest of your day is yours to own.

This role is partner-facing, which means some travel and in-person meetings come with the territory. Whether that’s visiting a partner on-site, attending an industry event or being present for a big strategy conversation, showing up in person matters in this work.
