When tragedy struck Sheryl Johnson’s family, she became an advocate. Her 28-year-old daughter, Cassie Johnson, a police officer in Charleston, West Virginia, was shot in the line of duty. Sheryl found peace in telling her daughter’s story of being an organ donor and giving to others even after her tragic death. Sheryl’s story is the most notable campaign resulting in over 80 organ donor registrations for Donate Life West Virginia.
